Alexandre Desplat is a French-Greek film composer born 1961 in Paris France. He has won two Academy Awards for his music for the films The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Shape of Water. Having composed mainly for French Cinema, his big Hollywood break came in 2003 with the music for the film Girl With the Pearl Earring. He has composed 84 Soundtracks since 2001.
