Furry Lewis (1893–1981) was a legendary Memphis blues guitarist and songster whose career spanned the early recording era of the 1920s and the folk-blues revival of the 1960s. Furry Lewis (1960) is his first full-length album, recorded by Samuel Charters for Folkways Records after Lewis was rediscovered.
