Smudge | Real McCoy Wrong Sinatra | Album
Regular price
Released in late 1998 by Half A Cow Records, Real McCoy Wrong Sinatra is the final studio album from Sydney indie pop iconoclasts Smudge. Recorded in just five days on an eight-track tape machine inside a seaside shack in Gerroa, NSW, the album captures the band expanding into a four-piece with the addition of second guitarist Pete Kelly. The result is a relaxed, dual-guitar attack that pairs their signature slacker-pop sensibilities with a surprisingly robust, polished sonic character.
