Solstice | Halcyon | Album

Originally released as a 10" vinyl mini-album in 1995/1996, Halcyon by the English epic doom metal band Solstice serves as a missing link in their discography. Nestled perfectly between their heavy, mournful 1994 debut Lamentations and their 1998 monolithic masterpiece New Dark Age, this EP showcases a faster, more triumphant, and notably more upbeat style. It captures a distinct moment for the band under the powerful vocal delivery of Simon Matravers.
