Billy Thorpe | Million Dollar Bill | Album

Released in November 1975, Million Dollar Bill is the debut solo studio album by legendary Australian rock icon Billy Thorpe. Recorded at Festival's Studio 24 in Sydney following the dissolution of his heavy-hitting blues-rock outfit, The Aztecs, the record marked a radical and polished creative shift. It moved Thorpe away from his signature pub-rock screamer persona and straight into sophisticated blue-eyed soul, funk, and adult contemporary rock.
