Niku o Kuraite Chikai o Tateyo, often translated as Eat Meat, Swear an Oath, is the only studio album by the Japanese psychedelic pop group Hallelujahs. Led by Shinji Shibayama (who later formed Nagisa Ni Te), the genre is Psychedelic pop, slowcore, dream pop, and psychedelic folk. It is considered a precursor to the slowcore genre, predating Western acts like Galaxie 500 by several years.
