The 2021 release of "L.A.M.F. – The Found '77 Masters" by Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers is widely considered the definitive audio version of the legendary 1977 punk album. In 2020, two tape reels marked "Copy Master 12.7.77" were found in the attic of late co-producer Daniel Secunda. For decades, L.A.M.F. was notorious for a "muddy" mix on the original vinyl that obscured the band's power. These found masters restore the clarity and punch originally intended by the band.
