Regular price
Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up is the 1969 debut solo album by American musician Jeff Simmons. A cult classic of psychedelic and blues rock, the album is heavily influenced by Simmons' long-time collaborator Frank Zappa. The album was co-produced by Frank Zappa and Chris Huston. Due to contractual reasons, Zappa is credited as La Marr Bruister for his production and songwriting contributions. Zappa played lead guitar on the title track and the song "Raye". Ian Underwood, another frequent Zappa collaborator, also contributed saxophone and keyboards.
