Nick Drake "Bryter Later"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Island, UK, 2013, 37347551, Remastered, 180g Vinyl, Incl. MP3 Download

Nick Drake's second album, Bryter Layter (1971), is widely considered his most polished and "pop-oriented" work, featuring lush arrangements that contrast with the starker intimacy of his debut, Five Leaves Left, and the raw isolation of his final record, Pink Moon. Moving away from solo acoustic folk, the album incorporates jazz and chamber music elements, including flute, saxophone, and brass sections. The record features prominent guest musicians, including John Cale (of The Velvet Underground) on keyboards and celeste for "Northern Sky" and "Fly," as well as members of Fairport Convention.
