Sunday Painters "Something To Do"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Terminal Records, Australia, 2015, 006, 851372002914, Remastered, Reissue, Incl. Booklet Insert, Digital Download

Something to Do is the debut vinyl release by Wollongong-based electronic noise-rock band Sunday Painters, originally released in 1982 on their own Terminal Records label. Their sound is an ecstatically weird mix of skewed pop, art, and noise, like a cross between early Swell Maps, Velvet Underground and Cabaret Voltaire. They finished up more than 25 years ago but the unique sound of the Sunday Painters is now being recognised. Early pressings from this criminally underrated band now sell for big dollars and they have a growing number of fans around the world.
