The Psychedelic Furs "Forever Now"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Columbia, Europe, 2018, 88985459991, 180g Vinyl, Reissue, Incl. Poster Insert

Released on September 24, 1982, Forever Now marks the precise moment The Psychedelic Furs transitioned from the raw, chaotic friction of post-punk into the sleek, melodic landscape of 1980s new wave pop. Facing sudden line-up reductions from a six-piece down to a quartet, the band pivoted by hiring legendary producer Todd Rundgren, whose dense, layered "wall of sound" production fundamentally reshaped their identity. The result is a cohesive, highly danceable masterpiece that stands as one of the definitive alternative albums of its era.
