The Stooges' Fun House is widely considered the ultimate proto-punk masterpiece, a feral and apocalyptic document of rock ’n’ roll stripped down to its bare, primitive bones. While their 1969 self-titled debut was relatively tidy under the production of John Cale, their 1970 second album-especially in its massive Expanded Edition format-captures the chaotic, unhinged fury of the band's live set.
