The The | Dusk | Album

Dusk by The The, released on 25 January 1993 through Epic Records, stands as Matt Johnson’s most organic, stripped-back, and arguably most accomplished studio work. Moving away from the heavy electronic dance-pop of prior records like Infected, the album embraces a warm, acoustic, and blues-driven alternative rock sound anchored by former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr.
