Take It To The Vertical is the debut solo album by Deniz Tek, the American-Australian guitarist and founding member of the seminal punk band Radio Birdman. Released in September 1992 through Red Eye Records and Polydor Records. The album was recorded at Sugar Hill Studios in Houston, Texas. It features a rhythm section comprised of The Stooges drummer Scott Asheton and bassist Chris Masuak (also of Radio Birdman). The album delivers a "precision power trio" sound, blending blues-tinged rock'n'roll with the high-energy guitar work Tek is known for.
