Kahvas Jute | The Quickening (Live) | Album

The Quickening is a 2006 album by the Australian progressive rock band Kahvas Jute, consisting of both new studio recordings and live performances. It was released as a companion CD to the live DVD Then Again, which documented the band’s reunion concert at The Basement in Sydney on July 17, 2005. The recordings feature original members Dennis Wilson (guitar/vocals), Tim Gaze (guitar), and Bob Daisley (bass), with new drummer Mark Marriott. The album contains 12 tracks: six new studio songs recorded in January 2005 followed by live versions of those same six songs from the 2005 Basement gig.
