Carly Rae Jepsen | EMOTION | Album

Carly Rae Jepsen’s 2015 studio album, E•MO•TION, is widely celebrated as a synth-pop classic. Moving past the viral bubblegum shadow of her 2011 breakout hit "Call Me Maybe", Jepsen and her team meticulously whittled down an astonishing 200 written tracks to deliver a spotless, critically acclaimed record. The album serves as a pristine, deeply focused love letter to the late 1980s dance-pop and R&B eras, expertly stacking soaring hooks on top of retro instrumentation.
