Van Morrison "Astral Weeks"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Warner Brothers, Europe, 2015, 0081227950378, Reissue, 180g Vinyl

Released in November 1968, Van Morrison’s Astral Weeks is one of the most uniquely transcendent albums in the history of rock and popular music. Emerging from a period of contractual disputes and personal isolation in Boston, a 23-year-old Morrison bypassed the pop sensibilities of his hit "Brown Eyed Girl" to record an improvisational, genre-blurring song cycle that feels less like a collection of tracks and more like a profound stream of consciousness.
