Melody's Echo Chamber's debut album is the self-titled Melody's Echo Chamber, released on September 25, 2012. The album was produced by Kevin Parker, frontman of Tame Impala, and is known for its blend of psychedelic pop and dream pop. The album was primarily recorded in Perth, Australia at Kevin Parker's studio, and at Melody Prochet's grandparents' beach house in Cavalière, France. The collaboration between Prochet and Parker resulted in a critically acclaimed debut that received generally favorable reviews. Pitchfork called it "enchanting, psychedelic-tinged pop with just the right amount of thematic darkness."
