Little Feat, the band's self-titled debut album, was released in January 1971 on Warner Bros. Records. It is a highly acclaimed album known for its unique blend of rock and roll, blues, and country influences. Little Feat was produced by Russ Titelman and recorded primarily in Los Angeles in late 1970. The original lineup featured Lowell George on vocals, guitars, and harmonica; Bill Payne on keyboards and vocals; Roy Estrada on bass and backing vocals; and Richard Hayward on drums and backing vocals.
