Long Before Day is the 2022 solo studio album by Deniz Tek, the founding guitarist of the legendary Australian proto-punk band Radio Birdman. The album features Tek's signature "stinging, barbed-wire guitar" work and evolved vocals. Recorded on tape using vintage techniques, it aims for a spontaneous, live feel. Influences range from the Exile on Main St-era Rolling Stones to Chuck Berry and Howlin' Wolf.
