Talking Heads "Talking Heads:77"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Sire Rhino, Europe, 2009, R16036, 0081227988418, Remastered, 180g Vinyl

Talking Heads: 77, released on September 16, 1977, by Sire Records, stands as one of the most confident, sharply focused debut albums in rock history. Emerging from the late '70s CBGB scene, Talking Heads bypasses the raw, distorted aggression of contemporary punk for a pristine, minimalist blend of art punk, new wave, and rhythm-driven funk. It is an album defined by an incredible, anxious tension that dares you to dance.
