The Untitled Slint EP (often referred to simply as Slint) is the missing link between the band's abrasive debut and their legendary masterpiece. Recorded with Steve Albini in 1989 but shelved until its 1994 release on Touch and Go Records, this two-track, 13-minute release captures a monumental evolutionary leap. It bridges the chaotic noise-rock of Tweez with the stark, skeletal minimalism that birthed post-rock on Spiderland.
