Released on 23 April 1971, Sticky Fingers is widely considered one of the greatest albums in rock history, capturing The Rolling Stones at the absolute absolute peak of their musical powers and decadent mythos. Marking a transition into a more weary, drug-laden, and blues-infused era, the record kicked off the band's legendary 1970s run and served as the debut release for their own Rolling Stones Records label, complete with the introduction of the iconic tongue-and-lips logo.

Original releases of the Stones' 1971 Sticky Fingers album had a real metal zipper on the front cover that unzips to reveal a man in cotton briefs.
