Dixie Chicken is the third studio album by the American rock band Little Feat, released in January 1973. It is considered the band's landmark album and signature work, known for its unique blend of Southern rock, New Orleans R&B, funk, and blues. This album introduced a new, expanded line-up with the addition of guitarist Paul Barrere, bassist Kenny Gradney, and percussionist Sam Clayton, which radically altered the band's sound towards a funkier direction.
