LP (NEW) - Vinyl, 4AD, USA, 2014, CAD3419, 652637341911, Remastered, 180g Vinyl, Incl. Digital Download

Blue Bell Knoll is the fifth studio album by the Scottish dream pop band the Cocteau Twins, known for its dense, ethereal sound and Elizabeth Fraser's soaring vocals. Released in 1988 on the 4AD label, it was the band's first album to receive major-label distribution in the United States via Capitol Records. It was the first album entirely recorded in the band's own studio, giving them greater creative freedom. Elizabeth Fraser named the album after a peak in southern Utah. The album features a "wall of sound" and includes instruments like marimba and harpsichord. It also contains "Carolyn's Fingers," a relatively accessible song that reached number two on the US Alternative Airplay chart.
