Critics and listeners generally regard it as an underrated gem of the early 2000s alternative rock scene. The album is praised for its layered production and ability to blend various genres into a cohesive, albeit sometimes disjointed, experience. Many reviews highlight the heavy, "fuzzy" guitar work reminiscent of Siamese Dream-era Smashing Pumpkins. Tracks like "Start Over" and "Ruin Your Life" feature looped drumbeats and glitchy elements similar to artists like the Sneaker Pimps.

Artist Website: lqprecords.bandcamp.com

More by Artist: Abandoned Pools

Related Artists: Eels, Tommy Walter
