Eric Quincy Tate | Vintage Vinyl Volume I (Comp.) | Album

Eric Quincy Tate’s Vintage Vinyl Volume I is a definitive compilation that serves as an exceptional introductory retrospective for one of the Southern United States' greatest "lost" bands. Released in 1994, this album seamlessly synthesises tracks from their mid-70s LPs—specifically 1975's E.Q.T. and 1977's Can't Keep A Good Band Down—alongside rare, unreleased studio gems. The result is a masterclass in blistering, sweat-soaked swamp-funk, blues rock, and blue-eyed soul that sounds punchier and cleaner than the original pressings.
