Godflesh | Selfless | Album
Regular price
Released in late 1994, Selfless is the third studio album by English industrial metal pioneers Godflesh. Standing as the band's major-label debut via Columbia Records, the record marks a fascinating paradigm shift where frontman Justin Broadrick and bassist G.C. Green channeled their signature mechanical bleakness into a more structured, spacious sound. Broadrick famously dubbed Selfless his "rock & roll" album—a description that perfectly encapsulates why this record is widely considered the most accessible, groove-driven, and expansive entry in their classic '90s discography.
