Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Virgin, Europe, 2022, RMLP2, 602507460228, Half-Speed Remastered, 180g Vinyl, Gatefold

Released on 23 March 1973, Roxy Music’s second studio album, For Your Pleasure, stands as an absolute masterpiece of glam rock and art rock. It represents the zenith of the short-lived, highly volatile creative partnership between frontman Bryan Ferry and synthesizer virtuoso Brian Eno before Eno's departure in July of that year. The record perfectly balances pop sensibilities with experimental audacity, acting as a bridge between American R&B and the European avant-garde.

The album For Your Pleasure featured another cover photograph by Karl Stoecker. The model in this case was the mysterious French model & entertainer Amanda Lear, who as a young model was the close friend and muse of Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí.
