LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Speakers Corner Records, Germany, 2007, BS 2694, 4260019713230, 180g Vinyl, Remastered, Gatefold Sleeve

Released in March 1973, The Captain and Me is widely considered the Doobie Brothers' classic album. It successfully propelled the band to superstar status and spent a full year on the billboard charts. Produced by Ted Templeman, this third studio effort presents a definitive slice of 1970s Album-Oriented Rock (AOR) by masterfully balancing driving, gritty boogie rock with melodic, acoustic country-folk ballads.
