Isao Tomita aka Tomita born 1932 in Tokyo was a Japanese composer regarded as one of the pioneers of electronic and space music using analog synth's. Many of his works are electronic adaptations of famous classical music pieces. Standouts are Snowflakes are Dancing, a Debussy re-work, and Bizet's Bolero. Tomita also composed many Japanese film soundtracks.
