"Five Live Yardbirds" (1964) stands as a definitive, adrenaline-fueled artifact of the 1960s British blues boom. Recorded live at London’s historic Marquee Club on March 20, 1964, and released that December, it captured a raw, blistering alternative to the sterile studio environments that heavily frustrated British R&B bands of the era.
