The Yardbirds’ 1966 non-album single, Happenings Ten Years Time Ago / Psycho Daisies, is a landmark of proto-avant-noise pop and psychedelic rock. Released shortly after the seminal Roger the Engineer album, this specific release captures a historic, fleeting moment in rock music history: the brief, explosive overlap of guitar titans Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page playing together in the same lineup.
