“Eternal Fasting” (Вечный пост) stands as the only true studio effort by Soviet bard-rock poet Alexander Bashlachev. Recorded in April 1986 at the home studio of Alexander Lipnitsky (bassist for Zvuki Mu) on Nikolina Gora, the album captures Bashlachev's transition from rhythmic acoustic folk toward a denser, darker, and more experimental bardic delivery.
