Berry Lipman | Star Maidens: Die Mädchen aus dem Weltraum (Soundtrack) | Album
Regular price
Berry Lipman’s soundtrack for Star Maidens (Die Mädchen aus dem Weltraum) is a sublime, hyper-funky artifact of 1970s sci-fi lounge culture. Originally composed for the 1975 British-German television series—famous for its campy, "femdom" premise of a matriarchal planet ruling over male slaves—the soundtrack finally received a proper archival compilation via All Score Media in 1999. The album delivers an infectious blend of space-age disco, sleazy library funk, and kitschy audio dialogue that feels like a continuous "porn star party on the moon".
