Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs | More Arse Than Class | Album

More Arse Than Class by Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs stands out as a rare studio album that successfully captures the untamed, ear-splitting energy of a legendary 1970s live band. Released in June 1974 through Atlantic Records, it served as the final studio album recorded by the classic "Sunbury" era line-up—featuring Thorpe (vocals/guitar), Warren "Pig" Morgan (piano/organ), Gil "Rats" Matthews (drums), and Teddy Toi (bass). Peaking at #12 on the national charts, the record famously courted controversy with its provocative title and a gatefold sleeve that featured the band members' bare backsides.
