Released in 2003, Think Tank is Blur's seventh studio album and stands as a major turning point in their career, marked by the departure of founding guitarist Graham Coxon early in the recording sessions. This shift resulted in a record that largely abandons the band's signature guitar-heavy sound in favour of electronica, dance beats, and North African influences, partly due to recording in Morocco.

Blur's 7th album Think Tank from 2003 featured a stencil artwork by graffiti artist Banksy. The work caused some controversy because of Banksy's anti-commercial stance, however he agreed to the work commissioned by Blur in order "to pay the bills".
