LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Rhino, Europe, 2022, RCV1 2115, 0603497839490, 2xLP, Transparent Vinyl, Record Store Day, Limited Edition, Reissue

Captain Beefheart's 1972 album Clear Spot is widely regarded as his most accessible masterpiece, successfully blending his avant-garde weirdness with polished blues-rock and soulful pop. Produced by Ted Templeman (known for his work with The Doobie Brothers and Van Halen), the album reins in the legendary chaos of Trout Mask Replica in favour of tight, punchy arrangements that highlight the Magic Band's incredible musicianship.

Early releases of the 1972 album Clear Spot are bagged in clear plastic sleeve with embossed "Clear Spot" logo on the front flap. Inside alongside the vinyl is a heavy card printed sheet.
