The self-titled 1972 debut album by Captain Beyond is widely regarded as a cult classic of progressive hard rock. The original 1972 release of Captain Beyond on Capricorn Records came with a 3-D like illustration printed on "Lenticular" plastic glued to the centre of the front cover.
