Cluster "Cluster II"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Bureau B, Europe, 2025, BB406, 4015698208733, 180g Vinyl, Reissue

Released in 1972 on the Brain label, Cluster II is widely regarded as a foundational masterpiece of Krautrock and electronic music. It marks the transition for Dieter Moebius and Hans-Joachim Roedelius from the abrasive, industrial noise of their previous incarnation (Kluster) toward the minimalist, spacey soundscapes that would define their career. A mix of ambient, proto-industrial, and space music. Produced by the legendary Conny Plank, the album famously features no synthesisers. Instead, the duo used organs, guitars, and various electronics to create eerie, pulsing textures. The atmosphere is often described as menacing, hypnotic, and "otherworldly"
