The Donut County Original Soundtrack, composed primarily by Daniel Koestner with contributions from game creator Ben Esposito, is a masterclass in lo-fi, chill room aesthetic that perfectly anchors the whimsical nature of the game. Released alongside the game on August 28, 2018, via Annapurna Interactive, this expansive 42-track album transcends typical chiptune video game music. Instead, it blends elements of folktronica, downtempo wonky, microhouse, and glitch into a beautifully cohesive sonic landscape.
