Del Shannon | Runaway Hits! (Comp.) | Album

Del Shannon’s Runaway Hits! is a highly regarded 1984 compilation that stands as one of the definitive overviews of the rock and roll pioneer's most vital era. Released across labels like Bug, Rhino, and Edsel, this release strips away the typical teen-pop sheen of the early 1960s to reveal the brooding, dramatic urgency that made Shannon a precursor to the British Invasion. For fans looking to understand the full depth of his minor-chord masterpieces.
