Depeche Mode "Ultra"
LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Rhino, US, 2007, WBA1-234364, 180g Vinyl, Remastered, Gatefold Sleeve
Depeche Mode’s ninth studio album, Ultra (1997), is widely considered the band's "miracle record"-a dark, bruised classic born from the brink of total collapse. Released following the departure of sound architect Alan Wilder and Dave Gahan’s near-fatal drug overdose, the album shifted their trajectory from stadium-goth grandiosity into a deeply intimate, electronic-industrial survival piece.
