Faith No More | Album of the Year | Album

Faith No More's sixth studio album, Album of the Year (released on June 3, 1997), stands as a fascinatingly dark, cinematic, and deeply fractured entry in their legendary catalogue. Emerging from chaotic recording sessions where the band members were rarely in the same city, it initially received savage critical reviews. Over the years, however, retrospective analysis has widely recontextualised it as a beautifully sombre, underrated alternative metal swan song.
