Free Live! (1971) stands as a definitive monument to the raw, unadulterated power of English blues-rock. Released by Island Records shortly after the band's initial April 1971 breakup, this album was rushed out to commemorate a group that, despite their youth, possessed an astonishingly mature and soulful musical chemistry. While it served as a stop-gap release amidst intense internal turmoil, it remains one of the finest live documents of the 1970s

Free's 1971 release Free Live on Island Records came with an envelope-styled cover with "stamp" portraits of each band member, which were pasted on, not printed.
