The original 1967 soundtrack for Walt Disney's The Jungle Book is widely celebrated as one of the greatest soundtracks in cinema history, striking a perfect balance between George Bruns’ jazz-infused instrumental score and unforgettable, age-agnostic songwriting. While reviewers frequently praise the collaborative outcome, the album's brilliance lies in a fascinating clash of creative visions between songwriter Terry Gilkyson and Walt Disney himself.
