Godflesh | Pure | Album

Godflesh’s second studio album, Pure (1992), is a monumental blueprint for industrial metal and an early pioneer of what would become post-metal. While their 1989 debut Streetcleaner was a claustrophobic masterclass in raw, urban punishment, Pure takes those same crushing foundations and expands them into a massive, rhythmic, and surprisingly experimental sonic landscape.
