Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit's 2018 live album, Live From the Ryman, captures the band at the peak of their commercial and critical breakthrough. Culled from a multi-night, sold-out residency at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium, the record serves as a triumphant live "greatest hits" document for his most celebrated decade of work. Critics and fans split their reception between high praise for the band's flawless execution and mild disappointment regarding its technical mixing and conservative track choices.
