Jean-Michel Jarre’s Equinoxe (1978) is a classic of electronic music that balances technical innovation with deep, emotional songwriting. Released as the highly anticipated follow-up to his breakthrough album Oxygène, Equinoxe proved that Jarre was not a one-hit wonder, but a visionary composer capable of turning cold synthesizer waveforms into lush, organic landscapes.
