John Hiatt "Slow Turning"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Universal, Europe, 2018, 00602567079347, 180g Vinyl, Incl. Digital Download

Released in August 1988, John Hiatt's Slow Turning is widely considered one of his finest works, serving as a triumphant follow-up to his breakthrough album, Bring the Family. While its predecessor captured the raw, stripped-back vulnerability of a man rebuilding his life, Slow Turning shows Hiatt basking in the joy of stability. Backed by his stellar road band, The Goners-featuring the spectacular slide guitar work of Sonny Landreth-and guided by legendary producer Glyn Johns, the album perfectly blends heartland rock, bluesy twang, and witty, domestic storytelling.
